How to properly care for your battery.
Proper maintenance of your battery may extend its lifespan and keeps your battery healthy. Here are some tips for battery care:
1. When you’re not going to use your vaporizer for several hours, remove the tank from the battery. Tanks do leak a little, and any juice can seep into the battery, shortening its lifespan and capacity.
2. Clean your battery’s contact point every week with a q tip. You may want to use rubbing alcohol to help get rid of excess gunk. It is recommended you clean your tank of any excess gunk as well.
3. Don’t leave your battery at less than 50% life. If your battery does not have a battery meter, you can approximate the life like this:
A. 650 mAh: 3 hours of use, >15 puffs per hour
B. 900 mAh: 4-5 hours of use, >15 puffs per hour
C. 1100 mAh: 5-6 hours of use, >15 puffs per hour
4. Don’t leave your battery on the charger once the battery is fully charged. Disconnect the battery from the charger once charging is complete. Full charges should only take at max 2 hours for most batteries.
